Transformation through bodywork
A little about Alison

" A rising tide lifts all boats". Heraclites

"We are born into bodies that are fluid and free.  Yet for most of us, this state of grace is sadly short lived.  Rhythm, breath, music and movement become tools for seeing, then freeing, the habits that hold us back.  When we free the body, the heart begins to open.  When the body and the heart taste freedom, the mind won't be far behind.  And when we put the psyche into motion,it will start to heal itself. Hello Everybody, I'm Alison Woodings, Licensed Massage Therapist and Watsu Practitioner.   When life had me backed into a corner and in constant pain,  the only thing that I knew would help me was to go to massage school.  So I went, and it has been the greatest blessing and best journey of my life.  I received my training for massage from the Sedona School of Massage in 2016.   Since then, I have training in Cranial Sacral Therapy, Deep Tissue techniques, Polarity Therapy,  Myofascial Release, and training in Biomagnetic Pairing. I worked several years for local chiropractors.

In the fall of 2022, I completed my goal of becoming a Watsu Practitioner.  Classes in : Watsu1, Watsu 2, Watsu 3, Watsu3-adaptive, Healing Dance Underwater, and AMNION classes (306 hours)  I have over 200 hours with clients in the water.  It is by far the most profound of all the modalities I have practiced; freeing the mind and body together with such gentleness.

YOGA is also an integral part of my life, and have been practicing on and off for 20 years. I  got my teaching certification in 2019, and my  goal is to bring Hot Yoga to Thermopolis!
